Senior Project Manager
Location: Leicester
Salary: £90,000–£95,000 per annum + Excellent Benefits
Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing engineering business with an excellent reputation for delivering complex, high-value projects across the UK. Due to continued growth and an expanding project portfolio, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their leadership team based in Leicester.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an accomplished project management professional to take ownership of major engineering projects, lead high-performing teams, and play a key role in the continued success of a thriving organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project programmes, budgets, resources, and commercial performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams, providing guidance and mentoring where required.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring delivery against key milestones.
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.
- Monitor project performance and provide regular progress reports to senior management.
- Support tender reviews, project planning, and business development activities.
- Drive continuous improvement across project delivery processes.

You Will Ideally Have:
- Extensive project management experience within engineering, construction, manufacturing, utilities, or infrastructure.
- Experience managing large-scale, high-value projects.
- Strong commercial awareness with responsibility for budgets and contract management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to project delivery.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Qualifications

- Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- SMSTS, IOSH, or NEBOSH certification.
