About the Role
We're seeking a confident and experienced Senior Project Manager for our Managed Services Business Unit within Professional Services. You'll manage the complete project lifecycle, partner directly with customers, and deliver clear project outcomes aligned with agreed plans.
Responsibilities
- Project Delivery: Lead and manage medium to large-scale projects, including infrastructure and application migrations to Microsoft Azure, cloud services implementations, and Microsoft Modern Workplace transformations, following Advanced Project Management standards.
- Customer Satisfaction: Deliver outstanding customer service, address feedback promptly, and build lasting client relationships.
- Project Initiation: Clearly define project scope, deliverables, risks, impacts, and costs, ensuring alignment with customer expectations.
- Planning: Create detailed project plans, accurately estimating timelines and resources to deliver on-time and within budget.
- Project Control: Monitor project progress, provide regular status updates to all stakeholders, and ensure adherence to project objectives.
- Team Leadership: Promote teamwork and high performance, driving successful project outcomes.
- Relationship Management: Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams for smooth project delivery.
- Technical Oversight: Work closely with technical specialists and architects to resolve technical issues, making informed project decisions.
- Financial Accountability: Oversee project budgets, ensure profitability, adhere to contractual obligations, and coordinate closely with the Project Office for accurate invoicing.
- Governance: Ensure compliance with Professional Services governance processes throughout project lifecycles.

Requirements
- Demonstrated experience successfully managing complex projects, including:
- Private and Public Cloud infrastructure setups
- Application and infrastructure cloud migrations
- Microsoft 365 Modern Workplace deployments
- IT Service Management changes in an ITIL-aligned environment
- Certifications: Minimum of Azure Fundamentals certification, with advanced Azure certifications preferred.
- Project Management Skills: Proficient in standard project methodologies (PRINCE2, Agile, PMP).
- Technical Understanding: Familiarity with Azure cloud services, Microsoft 365 platforms, and data migration strategies.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong communication skills to effectively manage relationships and set realistic customer expectations.
- Leadership Abilities: Proven leadership in guiding diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Organisational Skills: Highly organised and analytical, capable of handling multiple projects and achieving key performance targets (customer satisfaction, schedule/quality/cost performance).
- Prior experience in managed services environments highly advantageous.
- Flexibility to travel as required for project success.
