About CoreTech Security

Here at CoreTech Security, our project portfolio consists of complex, security and research-led engagements where scope, direction and outcomes evolve as new technical findings emerge.

About the Role

We’re growing and hiring a Senior Project Manager to join our existing Project Manager team, within our commercial team. This role will be imperative to enable us to deliver quality outcomes and to maintain our exceptional client reputation. You will be involved with running multiple projects and must be confident working within the realms of research and ever-evolving technical discoveries.

You will have full end-to-end ownership of project delivery across a portfolio of security research and capability development engagements. This includes scoping and planning projects from inception and evolving a plan that reflects the research-driven nature of the work. Throughout the project you will be expected to communicate with multiple stakeholders including our customers, the technical delivery team, our Account Directors and our wider supporting business functions. You will be working with our extremely passionate technical consultants, to enable them to deliver mission critical research and capabilities for our clients, putting in place the necessary measures to ensure effectiveness to identify any risks early and take the most appropriate steps to mitigate.

The projects will be varied and include multiple disciplines including vulnerability research, software development, hardware research, RF and production builds. They will also be at various levels of maturity from early-stage scientific research through to the development of high assured and in-house supported capabilities. Our project durations and team sizes are also varied and includes rapid research tasks lasting a few weeks, to longer engagements lasting 12+ months with larger teams pulling on skillsets from multiple disciplines all working to deliver a common mission aligned capability.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
