Senior Project Manager

Senior Project Manager – Midlands Delivery

Overview

We are seeking experienced Senior Project Managers to join our growing Midlands practice, based in Birmingham or Nottingham. You will lead the successful delivery of complex, high-value schemes across sectors including:

  • Commercial offices
  • Industrial/logistics
  • Aviation infrastructure
  • Public sector programmes

This role combines project leadership, client relationship management, and commercial accountability, with the opportunity to play a visible role in shaping regional delivery.


Your Role

  • Lead the delivery of projects through the full lifecycle, applying best-practice project management methodology
  • Act as the primary client interface and trusted advisor
  • Take responsibility for project commercial performance, governance and resourcing
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams and drive collaborative behaviours across stakeholders
  • Provide leadership, mentoring and technical guidance to junior team members
  • Manage procurement strategies, tender processes and contract administration
  • Ensure compliance with AtkinsRéalis systems, standards and policies
  • Support business development and contribute to winning new work

About You

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree-qualified with significant relevant experience
  • Chartered professional (MRICS, MCIOB, CHPP or equivalent)
  • Strong track record of delivering projects across public and/or private sectors
  • Experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams and complex stakeholder environments

Technical & Commercial Competencies

  • Commercially astute, with experience managing project financials
  • Experience with JCT and NEC contracts and procurement strategies
