Senior Project Manager
Working with a rapidly growing infrastructure contractor delivering complex civil engineering and electrical infrastructure projects across the UK. This organisation has built its reputation on technical excellence, collaborative delivery, and long-term client partnerships across the utilities, energy, power and infrastructure sectors.
Salary: £75,000 - £95,000 Basic + Car Allowance + Package
Location: Manchester - Hybrid Site Based
Role Description
As a Senior Project Manager, you will take ownership of a portfolio of civil and electrical infrastructure projects across the North West. Working across high-value utility and energy schemes, you will be responsible for managing projects from pre-construction through to final handover, ensuring they are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Reporting into the Operations Director, you will lead multidisciplinary teams delivering civil engineering, HV electrical infrastructure, substations and cable installation works. You will oversee programme delivery, commercial performance and client relationships whilst ensuring projects comply with industry regulations and company standards.
Alongside project delivery, you will provide leadership and mentoring to Project Managers and Site Teams, helping to drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards across the business.
This is an opportunity to join a business experiencing significant growth, delivering major infrastructure projects across the utilities, energy and power sectors.
Required Experience
- Proven experience delivering civil engineering and electrical infrastructure projects within the utilities, T&D or power sectors.
- Experience managing projects through the full lifecycle from pre-construction to commissioning and handover.
- Strong knowledge of HV electrical infrastructure, substations, cable installation or utility network projects.
- Understanding of NEC contracts, CDM Regulations and project commercial management.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors and client stakeholders.
- Understanding of National Grid, SPEN or Electricity North West competencies
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline is desirable.
