We're seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background delivering technology and transformation projects within the Utilities sector. This role will play a key part in leading Agile delivery teams, managing stakeholder expectations, and driving successful project outcomes across a complex portfolio of work.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines strong project governance and planning expertise with experience of utility systems and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of multiple projects and workstreams within an Agile environment.
  • Manage sprint planning, backlog prioritisation, and facilitate Scrum ceremonies.
  • Oversee resource capacity planning, forecasting, and delivery reporting.
  • Produce and maintain RAID logs, governance packs, and executive-level reporting.
  • Work closely with technical teams, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to ensure delivery objectives are achieved.
  • Manage project risks, dependencies, budgets, timelines, and scope.
  • Provide clear communication and reporting to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement across project delivery processes and governance frameworks.

Extensive Project Management experience delivering IT and business change projects

Strong experience with:

  • Azure DevOps administration and reporting
  • Sprint planning and Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies
  • Capacity planning and resource forecasting
  • RAID management and governance reporting

Proven ability to:

  • Manage complex project schedules and dependencies
  • Engage and influence senior stakeholders
  • Deliver projects within budget and agreed timelines
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

Utilities industry experience

Experience working with:

  • PowerOn
  • ADMS (Advanced Distribution Management Systems)
  • Electricity, power distribution, or energy networks
  • Executive stakeholder management experience within large enterprise environments
