Role Overview
This role sits within Finance as part of the Virgin Money Finance Integration Programme, a major transformation supporting the integration of Virgin Money into Nationwide. Working across Finance, Product, and delivery teams, the programme ensures systems, data, and processes are integrated safely and under strong governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Finance process change, ensuring readiness for new and migrated product capabilities.
- Embed robust accounting, reconciliation, reporting, and treasury processes.
- Manage dependencies and maintain effective control of risks and decisions.
- Play a key part in protecting financial integrity, meeting regulatory requirements, and enabling a smooth, well-governed transition.

Role Requirements

- Line management responsibility for two direct reports.
- Day-to-day lead a matrix delivery team of project managers and business analysts to deliver Finance process change.
Working Conditions

- Working hours (per week) for this role can be between 30 and 35 hours.
- This is a 24-month secondment opportunity.
Hybrid Working

- More rewarding relationships are supported through our hybrid approach, bringing colleagues together across our UK-wide estate, whilst also supporting generous access to home working.
- You'll spend at least two days per week, or if part time you'll spend 40% of your working time, based at either our Swindon or London office.
- If aligned to our Glasgow hub (as this is your nearest location), there will be a need to regularly connect with colleagues for collaboration events. This is anticipated to be once a month in Glasgow.
