We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our team of change-makers on an initial short-term contract of 12 months, with the possibility to extend.
In this role, you will lead projects of varying scale, budget, and discipline. Using your expertise, you will scope and plan with internal stakeholders and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing multiple teams, project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. We will look to you to help identify future opportunities, improve processes and drive the direction of the client’s needs.

Within this role, the majority of your remit will be focused on a restricted category brand. Your key challenge will be juggling multiple workstreams for a complex, global, and highly regulated business while ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll be involved in managing a range of projects, with a primary focus on operations and commercials, varying in sizes and complexity. You’ll work closely with clients to drive best ways of working for teams, collaborating across the agency and with teams in WPP to keep everyone on track and working towards the same shared goal.
You’ll have the opportunity to deliver multiple projects under various programmes, taking them through from client brief to final output. The projects and workstreams you’ll sit across will involve delivering on campaign toolkits covering TVC, social, digital, shopper, 360 brand experience/strategy development programmes, website content, app design and content creation.
Day-to-day, you’ll focus on:
- Managing complex schedules that involve both internal and external teams
- Tracking projects and tasks, communicating schedule and considerations to senior leadership
- Prioritising activities for quick execution of critical path work items.
- Taking responsibility for the projects you own; driving them to delivery, working closely with the external production partner(s)
- Coordinating with stakeholders to manage, track and control project issues to ensure timely delivery of products
- Developing reports to track planning, scheduling, issues, risks, and overall status
- Overseeing input to support with the creation of new processes and tools as necessary, to support additional needs and requirements of a fast-growing business
- Monitoring overall progress, including resolving issues, managing budget, and initiating corrective action as appropriate
- Managing third party vendors contributing to the projects
- Working closely with the Heads of Department and Resourcing teams to monitor overall resource allocations for the projects
What You Will Need:
In this role, as you scope for projects and deliver on workstreams, you will work closely and collaborate with all disciplines and departments within the agency.

To succeed in this role, you will need to:
- Work well and exert influence as a member of a highly integrated team, with prior experience as a Senior PM in a Creative agency (or similar) environment
- Leverage your project management skills: risk management, status reporting, change management, defining budgets & scopes, write estimations and proposals, draft legal documents and SOWs
- Demonstrate strong communication (both written and verbal), interpersonal and organisational skills
- Implement robust analytical skills to identify issues and apply effective problem-solving techniques
- Communicate honestly and openly and always being open to feedback
- Have experience managing a team, with the natural ability motivate & lead
- Manage up to senior stakeholders and day-to-day peers as a central point of information
- Adopt strong client-facing and negotiation skills
- Be comfortable and confident working directly with clients
