Student Castle is one of the UK's leading purpose-built student accommodation providers, operating a portfolio of approximately 60 assets across 28 cities on behalf of Mapletree Investments. We are committed to delivering exceptional student living experiences through high-quality residences, sustainable investment and operational excellence. As our capital investment programme continues to expand, we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Capital Projects team and help deliver a diverse range of strategic projects across the portfolio.
The Role
As Senior Project Manager, you will take client-side ownership of a portfolio of capital projects across multiple UK sites, providing leadership and delivery oversight from project inception through to completion and final account agreement. Working across a varied programme of fire safety remediation, building compliance, M&E upgrades, building fabric improvements and communal space refurbishments, you will play a key role in safeguarding and enhancing our assets.

You will be responsible for managing project budgets, procurement activities, contractor performance and external professional service providers, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme objectives. The role requires close collaboration with operational, facilities, compliance and asset management teams to successfully deliver projects within occupied buildings while minimising disruption to residents and building operations.
This is a varied and dynamic position, balancing strategic programme oversight with hands-on project delivery.
The Person
We are looking for a motivated and commercially astute project management professional with experience delivering complex capital works programmes within the property, construction or residential sectors. You will have a proven track record of managing multiple concurrent projects, overseeing external consultants and contractors, and successfully delivering projects from feasibility through to completion.

You will possess strong commercial and technical knowledge, including experience of procurement processes, contract administration under JCT, NEC or similar forms of contract, budget management and financial reporting. Experience delivering projects within occupied buildings, particularly within student accommodation, residential or build-to-rent environments, would be highly advantageous.
Ideally, you will have experience managing fire safety and compliance-led projects, with knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022, CDM Regulations and current industry best practice. Above all, you will be a highly organised and collaborative individual with excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing at all levels and delivering successful outcomes across a complex and diverse property portfolio.
