Senior Project Manager – IC-AC (Clearance SC)
Location: Tewkesbury Salary: £65,000 – £85,000 per annum (DOE) Clearance Required: Security Clearance (SC)

The Role
The Senior Project Manager will lead and oversee complex R&D project delivery while maintaining strong client engagement and operational excellence. Collaborating across Engineering, Delivery, and Leadership teams, this role ensures secure and timely delivery of high-impact projects for military and institutional clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary project teams in the delivery of client-funded R&D projects
- Act as a client-facing liaison, gathering requirements and translating them into robust delivery plans
- Conduct regular project reviews to monitor progress against schedules and milestones
- Develop and submit monthly progress reports using corporate tools, providing evidence-based summaries
- Contribute to bid, proposal, and project planning activities
- Manage project finances, risks, and resources with efficiency
- Support the Resource Demand Plan and ensure alignment with organisational priorities
- Collaborate with Technical Leads to align delivery objectives with project vision
- Participate in team stand-ups and provide updates on progress
- Actively support continuous improvement initiatives and prioritise urgent delivery demands

Experience & Qualifications
Essential Criteria
- 10+ years’ experience in delivering complex multi-disciplinary engineering projects
- Outstanding stakeholder management and client engagement skills
- Proficiency in project planning, risk management, and financial oversight
- Ability to balance competing priorities and deliver within tight deadlines
- Strong expertise in requirements capture and analysis
- Robust problem-solving and issue resolution capabilities
- Familiarity with Jira for ticket and backlog management
- Discretion and integrity in handling sensitive and classified information
- Excellent written and verbal communication, both internally and externally
- Self-driven, capable of working independently and collaboratively
Desirable Qualifications
- Technical background (AI, cyber security, systems engineering preferred)
- Experience in cyber security environments
- APMP or PRINCE2 certification (priority for larger projects)
- Supervisory experience in supplier management
- Knowledge of skills mapping and resource allocation

To be considered for this role, applicants must: ✅ Be a British citizen ✅ Hold, or be eligible for, UK National Security Vetting (NSV) at SC clearance level ✅ Demonstrate 10+ years’ experience in project delivery
