About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with experience in delivery of major BESS and Data Centre Projects to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivery of and coordination of the various teams, from pre-construction to handover. This role demands an individual who can effectively lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and ensure projects are executed on time, within budget, and in accordance with the highest health, safety, and quality guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
- Review the contract programme, confirm scope, and ensure all preliminary site setup requirements are identified and delivered.
- Receive and review all contract documentation at handover, maintaining overall ownership of the programme and achievement of milestones.
- Ensure site safety as the PM’s responsibility, working with EHS for audits and ongoing safety oversight throughout the project.
- Act as the main client interface and first point of escalation for both client and internal teams (delegated where appropriate).
- Hold weekly project meetings covering safety, finance, programme, design and site coordination to keep all teams aligned.
- Oversee project resources, ensuring adequate competent personnel, managing performance, QA reviews, safety reviews, and subcontractor quality audits.
- Manage design reviews, issue early warning notices, ensure site setup meets company standards, and act as the primary internal point of contact.

Key Requirements
- Electrical Engineering apprenticeship, ONC diploma or degree, extensive relevant experience.
- 5 years+ construction/engineering experience, with years as a Project Engineer working on HV assets.
- High voltage asset management experience, ideally within distribution and/or generation, transmission, or utilities.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong client-facing, stakeholder, contract, and team management skills with excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
- Commercially aware with the ability to define, manage, and work within detailed budgets while making evidence‑based decisions under pressure.
- Technically strong with engineering leadership experience, risk identification and management, and the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Competent with IT systems including MS Office (SharePoint advantageous) and experienced in developing and managing high‑performing teams.
