About the Role
We are seeking a mature, motivated, and highly capable Senior Project Manager to drive our most critical engineering and project initiatives. With a strong work ethic, absolute integrity, and a collaborative approach, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering the engineering solutions for a cleaner future.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex infrastructural energy projects across the full project lifecycle—from rights development, through construction, to commissioning.
- Oversee multiple high-impact projects and programs simultaneously, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-standard delivery, while taking full accountability for operational performance.
- Maintain exceptional stakeholder relationships, ensuring optimal project and commercial outcomes.
- Drive commercial and business performance, providing insights for project design, safety processes, monitoring, and control systems.
- Hold primary responsibility for Key Contract performance.
- Manage supplier and customer contracting, including commercial contract reviews and close coordination with legal advisors.
- Adise and influence senior leadership on project risk, resource allocation, and operational strategy.
- Proactively identify and mitigate technical, commercial, and programme risks before they impact delivery timelines.

Key Requirements
Education & Experience
- Degree-qualified (preferably in a STEM subject)
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial experience in the private sector, with preference for roles within engineering, renewable energy, or power industries.

- Proven ability to successfully lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects in a technical environment.
Commercial & Analytical Acumen
- Advanced analytical skills, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and data-driven decision-making.

- Strong leadership abilities, with experience guiding cross-functional teams.
- Mature sense of responsibility and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
Communication
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to:
- Navigate complex stakeholder dynamics.
- Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
Logistics & Compliance
- Must be able to commute daily to our Cheltenham office (this role is office-based only).
- Permanent eligibility to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
