Senior Project Manager
We're looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Senior Project Manager (3–5 years' experience) to join our growing team and help drive meaningful change across the food and consumer goods sector. As we expand our work in Europe with medium-sized companies to build critical mass and increase our impact, you will play a key role in supporting clients to define ambitious environmental and social sourcing commitments and turn them into practical, on-the-ground action. This is an exciting opportunity for a project manager with strong delivery skills and expertise in areas such as nature, climate and/or social sustainability, who wants to shape programmes that create lasting value for people, businesses and the environment.
About Proforest
Proforest is a mission-driven organisation that provides a consultancy service working throughout agricultural supply chains supporting the production and sourcing of agricultural and forest commodities that deliver positive outcomes for People, Nature and Climate. These cover issues such as protecting and restoring forests and natural ecosystems, respecting worker’s rights, advancing gender equality, supporting smallholder inclusion and engaging with communities and indigenous people. While this role will focus primarily on our European portfolio, it also offers opportunities to contribute to projects with global reach and impact.
Our Responsible Sourcing team brings together a global network of technical experts specialising in environmental sustainability, climate and human rights across agricultural and forestry supply chains. We work with leading multinational companies, including Nestlé, PepsiCo, Mars, The Coca-Cola Company and Cargill, as well as European regional market leaders such as Lindt and Jerónimo Martins, supporting responsible sourcing initiatives across major global and European agricultural supply chains.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
