Senior Project Manager - Events

About Nteractive Location: UK, Surrey (Hybrid - max 1 day a week)

As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Events team and lead the delivery of complex, high-profile projects across our global client portfolio. About the Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the planning and delivery of large-scale events and experiences from initial brief through to onsite execution and post-event review. Working closely with Account Directors, Project Directors and specialist teams across the agency, you'll translate client objectives into robust project plans, ensuring every detail is managed effectively, budgets are controlled, risks are mitigated and events are delivered to the highest possible standard. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on complexity, enjoys leading multidisciplinary teams, and takes pride in creating seamless attendee experiences while building trusted client relationships.

What you'll be doing Event & Project Delivery Lead the end-to-end project management of large-scale conferences, events and complex workstreams Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines and delivery schedules Ensure project documentation, budgets and reporting remain accurate and up to date throughout the project lifecycle Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail Take ownership of event delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and to agreed objectives Client & Supplier Management Build strong and trusted relationships with clients, venues, hotels and suppliers Act as a key point of contact throughout the planning and delivery process Negotiate supplier, hotel and venue contracts to secure value for money and commercial success Work collaboratively with suppliers and partners to ensure exceptional service delivery Position Nteractive as a trusted expert in event logistics and attendee experience Financial Management Develop and manage event budgets, forecasts and financial reporting Monitor project profitability and proactively identify risks and opportunities Ensure strong commercial decision-making throughout the project lifecycle Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver maximum value while maintaining quality Onsite Leadership Lead project teams onsite, ensuring smooth and successful event execution Provide direction to internal teams, venues and suppliers Troubleshoot challenges and implement practical solutions under pressure Ensure every event delivers an exceptional experience for attendees and clients alike Team Leadership & Continuous Improvement Lead, support and mentor project team members Share knowledge and best practice across the wider team Champion the continuous improvement of Nteractive's project management processes and frameworks Analyse post-event feedback and data to identify opportunities for future enhancements and efficiencies What you will bring Significant project management experience within an events agency environment Proven experience delivering large-scale conferences, meetings and complex event programmes Incentive travel experience is advantageous Strong client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills Experience negotiating and managing venue, hotel and supplier contracts Excellent financial and commercial acumen with experience managing event budgets Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong overall technical proficiency Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving abilities A collaborative, proactive and solutions-focused mindset Why you'll love working here Work with some of the world's most recognised technology and lifestyle brands Deliver exciting events and experiences across the globe Join a collaborative, supportive and ambitious team Opportunity to work across a wide variety of event formats and client programmes International travel opportunities Be part of a growing agency where your ideas, expertise and development are valued Benefits 33 days annual leave including Bank Holidays Birthday Day Off Summer Hours Hybrid Working Pension Scheme (5% employee / 3% employer contribution) Private Medical Insurance Healthcare Cash Plan Life Insurance Enhanced Maternity Pay Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Wellbeing & Inclusion Initiatives Volunteering Day Rewards & Recognition Programmes Generous Employee Referral Scheme Time Off in Lieu Additional Requirements Ability to work from home and attend the office as required for collaboration and client needs Minimum broadband speed of 25MB download / 2MB upload Willingness and ability to undertake international travel throughout the year Flexibility to occasionally work across different time zones to support global projects If you're passionate about delivering exceptional events, thrive in a fast-paced agency environment, and enjoy turning complex projects into seamless experiences, we'd love to hear from you.
