Senior Project Manager - Healthcare Projects (NEC + Design & Commercial Delivery)
Senior Project Manager – Healthcare & Complex Projects
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + Comprehensive Benefits Location: London | Hybrid (3 office / 2 remote)
About the Role
Some Project Managers solely coordinate programmes, but this Senior Project Manager role is razor-focused on influencing how projects are delivered—not just managing them.
Our client, one of the UK’s leading multidisciplinary architecture and engineering consultancies, is seeking an experienced Project Manager who can seamlessly navigate:
- Programme management
- Commercial positioning
- Stakeholder relations
- Design delivery
You’ll own, shape, and lead complex healthcare projects across the UK—from early-stage design all the way through delivery. This isn’t about agile meeting coordination; it’s about confidently challenging status quo to balance:
- Design decisions with programme sustainability
- Contractor/client expectations with commercial risks
This role exists for those who thrive on ownership—solvers, not just liaison points.
Who Will Enjoy This Role?
You’re the go-to problem-solver—naturally taking charge in situations like:
- Resolving friction between stakeholders before crises escalate
- Challenging adamant contractors or clients with clear, strategic reasoning
- Protecting programme/commercial health (not just reporting issues)
- Connecting technical nuances to delivery trade-offs
- Leading diverse teams through messy, multi-layered projects

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
