An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a landmark commercial redevelopment in the heart of Bristol.

Our client, a leading main contractor, has secured a £74m city centre refurbishment and office fit-out project, transforming an existing office complex into a modern, sustainable workspace with premium amenities. This is a flagship development and offers the opportunity to lead a technically challenging project from start to finish.

The Role

Reporting to the Regional Director, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of the project, ensuring it is completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Leading a multidisciplinary team, you'll work closely with the client, consultants and commercial teams to drive performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of a major commercial refurbishment and fit-out project.
  • Manage programme, budget, quality and project resources.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders.
  • Lead and develop the site management and engineering teams.
  • Ensure the highest standards of health, safety and quality are maintained.
  • Work closely with the commercial team to monitor project performance and costs.
  • Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee commissioning, completion and successful handover.

About You

We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager who has successfully delivered large-scale commercial projects for a Tier One or established regional contractor.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering major refurbishment, retrofit or cut & carve projects.
  • Strong commercial office construction or fit-out experience.
  • Previous employment with a Tier One or major regional main contractor.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and programme management experience.
  • SMSTS, CSCS Black Card and a full UK driving licence.
