About the Role
EG Group are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of digital and technology projects across the Germany Portfolio, sitting within the EG Group IT Project Management Office.
Reporting into the PMO leadership, this is a senior delivery role operating within a fast-paced, high-growth organisation with a complex, multi-site technology landscape. As EG Group continues to expand its digital capabilities in Germany, this position provides single-point accountability for delivery performance, governance, and portfolio-level oversight across all in-flight and pipeline initiatives.
You will work closely with in-country business stakeholders, IT leadership, and third-party delivery partners to drive structured, high-quality project delivery in line with the EG Project Delivery Framework. This role requires regular travel to Germany.

What You'll Be Doing
- Lead full lifecycle delivery of digital/technology projects, ensuring alignment to scope, timelines, budget, and quality.
- Own and manage the Germany Digital Project Portfolio, including governance compliance and performance oversight.
- Regular travel to Germany to interface with stakeholders, delivery teams, and third-party suppliers.
- Chair governance forums (Project Steering Committees) and present progress, risks, and Stage Gate approvals.
- Maintain RAID logs and proactively manage risks/issues across all project stages.
- Develop detailed project plans (supported by Plans on a Page) and oversee day-to-day delivery.
- Manage third-party partners, monitoring contract deliverables, costs, and service levels.
- Drive business readiness, training, adoption, and transition to Business-as-Usual operations.
- Mentor PMO team members and contribute to continuous improvement of the EG Project Delivery Framework.

What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of experience delivering complex digital/IT projects in large enterprises.
- Certification (PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, or equivalent).
- Strong grasp of project governance frameworks (Stage Gates, RAID, SteerCo).
- Portfolio management experience, including dependencies, sequencing, and vendor oversight.
- Senior stakeholder management, with credibility at business/IT levels.
- Multifunctional & cross-site delivery experience, with vendor management expertise.
- Background in digital transformation, cloud, applications, or infrastructure.
- Comfortable with international travel (Germany-based role).
- Familiarity with German retail/IT markets and German language proficiency desirable.
