Senior Project Manager – Fixed, Private and Mobile Networks (National Grid Projects)
About the Role
Right across infrastructure, there’s a need to renew, reimagine, and maintain. At M Group Telecom, you’ll join a team that’s safety-first, customer-centred, and values personal growth—whether you’re just starting or advancing your career.
Our role focuses on delivering essential infrastructure services for life, enabling telecom networks, and driving the delivery of a tech-enabled future. We specialise in full network cycle services for fixed, private, and mobile operators—refreshing technology, managing assets, and ensuring 24/7 network reliability.
Where Will You Work?
- Based primarily in M Group’s Coventry office with occasional travel to National Grid project sites and Telecom Division depots
- Play a leading role in network operations, asset refresh, and field maintenance
What Will You Be Doing?
You’ll join the Project Management Team as a Senior Project Manager, reporting to the Head of Delivery. Your focus:
- Daily management of internal project resources and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery
- Maintaining project activities and meeting agreed timescales
- Oversight of project quality, health & safety standards, and stakeholder engagement
- Chairing meetings with customers and supply chain
- Building strong external/internal relationships

What You’ll Bring
Essential Experience & Skills
✔ Senior Project Manager with proven ability to drive project delivery, meet milestones, and manage stakeholders ✔ Strong commercial acumen with telecommunications industry knowledge (asset management, NPLS, or networks experience advantageous) ✔ ISO compliance experience and safety-first mindset (aspiring for best industry standards) ✔ Proficient in Microsoft Office, including project scheduling, budgeting, and reporting tools ✔ Leadership in complex projects with clear communication, organisational, and relationship-building skills
