Senior NEC4 ECC Project Manager

Location: Hybrid (2 days/week office-based, with client/site travel) Working Hours: 40h/week

About the Role

At Jacobs, we’re reimagining the future by addressing global challenges across thriving cities, resilient environments, mission-critical outcomes, scientific discovery, and cutting-edge manufacturing. Our dedication is to turning abstract ideas into tangible solutions that create lasting, positive change.

Within our Water & Environment business, we tackle the UK’s most complex challenges—including flood risk management, climate resilience, ecosystem protection, and sustainable infrastructure. Working closely with key stakeholders like regulated water companies, the Environment Agency, and local authorities, our projects protect communities, enhance the environment, and drive resilient, future-proof solutions.

We’re seeking a skilled NEC4 ECC Project Manager to lead our teams in delivering secure, compliant, and high-value infrastructure projects. As a trusted advisor, you’ll ensure projects align with 程序管理, diploma planners, value delivery, and contracted requirements, while fostering a collaborative approach to diverse teams.

Your role will require contractual acumen, commercial awareness, risk mitigation, and programme leadership. You’ll act as a fair, impartial arbitrator under the NEC4 ECC framework while balancing cost, timeline, and quality. Your ability to coordinate between contractors, designers, stakeholders, and Commercial teams—ensuring robust, executable programmes—will be critical.

Additionally, you’ll drive innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement, while mentoring or managing day-to-day projects alongside teams.

Your Impact

You’ll be vital to ensuring projects are efficient, compliant, and deliverable—with a strong focus on value for money, client relationships, and sustainable outcomes. Your work directly contributes to Jacobs’ legacy of building a better world through knowledge, technology, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Administration & Compliance

  • Act as NEC4 ECC Project Manager, making clear, fair, and impartial decisions in line with contract terms.
  • Oversee and documentation of early warnings, compensation events, programme acceptance, and contractual instructions.
  • Manage compliance and contractual risks while maintaining momentum across projects.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
