Senior Project Manager - NPI
Your role
As a Senior Project Manager - NPI, your mission is to be accountable for the delivery of a large sized project; or be accountable for the delivery of multiple medium sized projects; or be accountable for the delivery of multiple subsystems/ technologies. You will report to the Senior Programmes Manager.
You will
Plan: Act as the single point of contact responsible for project schedule, cost, risks, and scope; generate a suitable Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) that enables level 0, 1, 2 and 3 plans to be developed; track progress and provide updates to the programme team and key stakeholders as required. Budget: Own the Projects budget, monitoring the expenditures and costs throughout the project. Responsibility Matrix: Ensure a suitable responsibility matrix (RACI) has been generated for each project. Risk, Actions, Issues and Decisions: Develop a RAID log for the project detailing key risks, actions, issues, and decisions. For all risks ensure a suitable mitigate is in place, developing contingency plans, or adjusting project scope, resources, or the timelines as needed. Stakeholder Management: Manage multidisciplinary teams to deliver end-to-end project milestones and goals. Reporting: Translate Project status, risks, opportunities, and issues into reliable, consistent, and regular reporting.

To succeed, you will need

Have a recognised Project or Programme Management Qualification (e.g. APM PMQ, Prince2), or equivalent experience (Essential). Educated to Degree level in a suitable Technical/Engineering/Science discipline (Essential). Have significant experience of managing complex technical programmes or projects spanning multiple phases/years to time, spec, and cost and have experience in managing projects with software content (Essential). Must have demonstrated experience of influencing and managing across global teams (Essential). Must have excellent influencing and negotiation skills at multiple organisational levels (Essential). Must be able to analyse complex programme requirements and generate a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) as part of high-level programme definition (Essential). Experience of project planning tools (such as Microsoft Project), processes and methodologies (Essential).

Job location
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site in Bristol, United Kingdom (GB).
