Senior Project Manager - Permitting
Location: UK (Remote)
Duration: 12+ month contract

About the Role
We are seeking a regional Project Manager to support land use, permitting, and environmental due diligence and execution efforts across the Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) regions. In this role, you will coordinate with internal stakeholders and onboarded vendors to complete Due Diligence Risk Screenings for new site candidates and coordinate, track, and obtain all necessary permits to deploy ground infrastructure.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Track and manage all permitting activities across the EMEA region, including zoning compliance, land use permits, conditional use permits, building permits, and environmental permits
- Maintain permit tracking databases and dashboards, ensuring accurate status reporting on timelines, expirations, and conditions of approval
- Collaborate with regional Site Asset Management, Construction, and design/engineering teams to align permitting timelines with project schedules
- Monitor environmental due diligence deliverables for completeness and compliance
- Identify permitting risks and escalate blockers to leadership with recommended paths to resolution
- Create and present status reports, client documents, and presentations on permitting progress and EDD completion
- Manage ongoing permit document organization, expiration tracking, and fulfillment of all permit conditions
- Support integration of permitting workflows with environmental assessments and construction timelines

Qualifi cations
- 6+ years of experience in site acquisition, land use, permitting, or environmental due diligence
- Strong project management skills with experience tracking complex, multi-jurisdictional workstreams
- Demonstrated ability to navigate local zoning codes, building codes, or other regulatory frameworks
- Experience in influencing internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to deliver results with a high sense of urgency
- Ability to work across time zones and coordinate with distributed teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with permit tracking platforms or project management tools
- Familiarity with environmental due diligence processes, such as Phase I ESAs and environmental risk screening
- Background in telecommunications, satellite, or broadband infrastructure development
- Knowledge of EMEA-specific land use regulations and environmental review frameworks
- Experience supporting vendor coordination in a program management capacity
- Certified in program management (PMP or equivalent)
- Strong technical aptitude and analytical skills
