As part of our ambitious growth strategy, we are excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join one of our Midlands offices in Nottingham. The successful candidate will support a strategic key account with the Ministry of Justice, delivering projects that develop and enhance the estate of prisons, courts, and probation services across Central England and Wales.
In this pivotal role, you will lead multiple dynamic projects, ensuring they not only meet deadlines but also exceed quality standards. You will immerse yourself in managing complex challenges and carefully follow detailed specifications to meet the unique needs of our clients. Your expertise will shine as you collaborate with diverse stakeholders, driving projects to successful and timely completion.

Your Core Responsibilities Will Include
- Embedding agreed protocols and leading all aspects of design management to ensure consistency, compliance, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
- Effectively administering NEC contracts to ensure contractual obligations are met and risks are managed appropriately.
- Monitoring, driving, and reporting on project performance, taking a proactive approach to action planning and issue resolution.
- Successfully delivering assigned projects by adhering to all specified requirements, governance standards, and client expectations.
- Managing resources effectively to ensure projects are completed within operational constraints, including timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Providing guidance and support to junior team members, contributing to their ongoing development and performance.

About You
Our ideal Senior Project Manager will:
- Be willing and eligible to obtain BPSS security clearance due to the nature of the projects.
- Have substantial experience working as a Senior Project Manager, ideally within a consultancy environment.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of delivering projects from concept design through to successful completion, with a strong understanding of design and construction processes.
- Possess a sound knowledge of building contracts, including JCT and NEC forms of contract.
- Have excellent client-facing, report writing, and presentation skills.
- Be experienced in bid writing and delivering compelling client presentations.
- Show a commitment to ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
- Hold chartered status or be actively working towards professional chartership.
- Have experience delivering projects within the public sector, preferably on Government-funded programmes.
