Senior Project Manager

£50,000 (pro-rata)

About the Role
We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to join a not-for-profit organisation, based in London. You will report to the Director of IT and lead a team of 19, overseeing a portfolio of 25 active IT change and technology projects, with governance and oversight across a wider portfolio of 150 initiatives. The portfolio includes a range of hardware and software upgrades and enhancements, including CRM, customer experience (CX), telephony, infrastructure and digital service improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the portfolio roadmap, portfolio map, and delivery plan.
- Establish governance frameworks, reporting structures, and portfolio ways of working.
- Lead portfolio prioritisation, resource planning, and delivery oversight.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and performance across the portfolio.
- Develop data, metrics, and dashboards to support decision-making and benefits realisation.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and business leaders.
- Lead, develop, and inspire a team of 19 project and change professionals.
Experience Required
- Proven portfolio management experience within a complex organisation.
- Strong leadership, governance, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience delivering IT, business, and technology change programmes.
- Track record of implementing portfolio management frameworks, reporting, and performance metrics.
- Experience within the not-for-profit, housing, charity, or public sector is desirable.
