Job Purpose

This role involves working with a key Global FMCG client, leading the end-to-end delivery of strategic and innovative permanent retail display projects across Europe. Key tasks include ensuring seamless execution from client briefs to final delivery, with a focus on:

  • Concept, design, production
  • Innovation, quality, and efficiency

You will have accountability for client-focused project management for Permanent Point of Sale Material (POSM) initiatives, ensuring project delivery from initial brief to in-store execution. Collaboration will be required with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to deliver projects on time, within budget, while meeting quality and service standards.

A strong understanding of retail environments, design, and manufacturing processes is essential.

Primary operational base is blended—local HH Global office, client/vendor sites, with home working as required.


Key Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Adhere to client contractual, commercial, and operational processes, ensuring projects align with sourcing strategies.
  • Review and validate client briefs with internal stakeholders, ensuring clarity, completeness, and feasibility.
  • Act as the primary point of contact, aligning approvals and information flow among clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Manage activities per rate cards and critical paths, defining timelines, milestones (including RFQs outside standard processes).

Execution & Accountability

  • Take ownership of projects from Design and Technical Buying teams, leading execution.
  • Ensure project documentation compliant with HH Global standards and accurate stakeholder communication.
  • Coordinate quality and technical compliance, working with QC teams, suppliers, and Technical Buys.

Financial & Change Management

  • Monitor change requests, communicating implications to clients and suppliers.

Logistics & Operations

  • Quality Management: Embed QC processes in timelines, ensuring documentation.
  • Logistics/Freight: Coordinate with suppliers and partners for on-time delivery and produce documentation (e.g., Incoterms).
  • Warehousing: Manage stock movements and provide real-time updates to warehouse teams.
  • Installation: Define scope, manage vendors, issue Purchase Orders (POs), track progress to completion.
  • Post Project: Conduct reviews for continuous improvement, ensure documentation completion, and accurate invoicing per contracts.

Core Requirements

  • Experience: Project management within POSM, retail display, or FMCG environments, with a solid understanding of 3D design and/or production processes.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly structured with attention to detail, capable of managing multiple multinational projects.
  • Stakeholder Management: Experienced as primary point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Communication: Exceptional written/verbal English skills; additional European languages an advantage.

Key Strengths

  • Ability to build strong client relationships, engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Decision-making skills to constructively challenge requirements and influence outcomes.
  • Adaptability in managing travel and flexible working hours as required.
  • Creative problem-solving and "out-of-the-box" thinking.

Essential Criteria

  • Demonstrated project management experience in POSM and retail display.
  • Skills to manage projects across European markets at once.
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities and commitment to staying engaged.
