Senior Project Manager (Structures, LED, Broadcast & AV)

ICP Search are working with a specialist technology consultancy behind the AV, LED and broadcast systems inside some of the biggest arenas in North America, including NBA, NFL and NHL venues. Backed by the world's largest venue operator, they are purely advisory - engaged directly by venue owners to run complex technology and structural projects from start to finish, without ever selling, integrating or installing equipment themselves.

With growing activity across Europe, they are now making their first hire on the ground here - a Senior Technical Project Manager with a strong structural/engineering grounding to take ownership of project delivery from start to finish.

The Opportunity

This is an end-to-end project management role for someone who understands the physical build side of complex projects, not just the technology sitting on top of it. You'll be comfortable assessing whether an existing structure can take on a major new installation, reading and challenging structural drawings, and managing the relationship with the engineers doing the detailed calculations - as well as running the wider project, from initial feasibility through to handover.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The role involves regular travel across the UK and wider Europe, and would suit someone who enjoys being close to the physical build, solving engineering problems quickly, and wants to help shape a brand new territory rather than step into an established one.

You will work closely with the US design team and locally engaged partners to:

  • Own the full project lifecycle across multiple concurrent projects, from early-stage structural assessment through to handover
  • Assess whether existing venue structures can support new heavy or suspended installations, and know when to bring in further engineering input
  • Manage the relationship with structural engineering firms delivering detailed calculations and sign-off
  • Coordinate structural engineers, contractors, suppliers and venue stakeholders on the ground
  • Manage international procurement, budgets and a live project risk register across multiple markets
  • Oversee construction administration, installation, testing and commissioning through to live operational use

What You'll Bring

  • Structural engineering background, qualification or strong hands-on experience - comfortable reading engineering drawings and asking the right questions of a structural consultant, without needing to produce the calculations yourself
  • Proven project management experience in venues, stadiums, arenas or comparable large-scale environments
  • Confidence coordinating multiple disciplines - structural, rigging, electrical, broadcast, audio and IT - toward a single delivery programme
  • Demonstrable ownership of programme, budget, risk and stakeholder management on high-value projects
  • An international, self-starting mentality, genuinely comfortable being the first hire in a new market and operating with autonomy
  • Willingness to travel regularly across the UK and wider Europe

Experience within venue technology, stadium or arena builds, or structural/temporary works would be highly beneficial. A background on the structural consultancy, contractor, or systems integrator side would also be of strong interest.

This is a rare opportunity for someone who enjoys sitting between the structural and technology worlds, and wants to help build a business from the ground up in a brand new market.
