The Pitch

We are looking for someone smart and detail-orientated to ensure we continue to keep all our moving parts moving.
About the Role
Outsmart Insight is seeking a Senior Project Manager with a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences. You'll coordinate complex technology intelligence projects from inception to completion, working closely with our analysts, project teams and global community of scientists and engineers to ensure every project is delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality.
This is a role for someone who thrives on organisation, problem solving and bringing people together. You'll enjoy managing multiple moving parts, building trusted relationships and continuously improving the way projects are delivered.
Alongside leading client projects, you'll contribute to process improvements and help shape the future evolution of Outsmart Insight's technology intelligence platform.
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead the planning and delivery of multiple client projects from scoping through to completion
- Act as the day-to-day contact for clients, providing regular updates and ensuring an exceptional client experience
- Coordinate multidisciplinary internal teams and our global network of 8,500+ scientists, engineers and deep-tech experts
- Manage project schedules, budgets, resources and milestones to ensure successful delivery
- Develop project plans, costings and delivery workflows
- Monitor project progress, resolve issues proactively and keep stakeholders informed
- Continually improve project management processes, workflows and operational best practice
- Work closely with our engineering team to support the evolution of our crowdsourcing platform
- Coach and mentor Project Managers, supporting their professional development
- Contribute to initiatives that strengthen Outsmart Insight's operations and delivery capability

You are expected to gain exposure to a wide range of emerging technology topics, such as:

Requirements
- Holds a degree (BSc, MSc or equivalent); a scientific, engineering or technical background would be advantageous
- Has 5+ years' experience managing complex client-facing projects in consulting, research, professional services or another knowledge-intensive environment
- Has a track record of delivering multiple concurrent projects on time and within budget
- Builds trusted relationships with clients, external partners and internal stakeholders
- Communicates clearly and confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Is highly organised, detail-oriented and calm under pressure
- Enjoys improving processes and driving operational excellence in project delivery
- Thrives in a fast-moving, intellectually stimulating environment
