Role summary

EBO is seeking an experienced Project Manager to take on the Implementation of our UK client projects with a primary focus on the deployment of our Intelligent Patient Portal (IPP). This role will also incorporate the monitoring and support of Product Adoption once the product is live. These projects will include integration and adoption via NHS login and the NHS App. This hybrid role therefore combines end-to-end project management with responsibility for driving product usage, optimisation and expansion across NHS and other healthcare providers.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead implementation projects for EBO’s Intelligent Patient Portal with NHS Trusts and other providers, from discovery through go-live and stabilisation.
  • Plan and manage deployment of IPP journeys such as appointment management, waiting list validation, assessments and e-correspondence, ensuring they are configured to local pathways and KPIs.
  • Own project governance: scope, milestones, RAID, reporting and stakeholder forums with clinical, operational, digital and IT teams.
  • Coordinate technical delivery teams to implement secure, standards-compliant integrations with EPR/PAS and related systems, including real-time bidirectional data flows and writeback.
  • Lead projects to integrate and surface the Intelligent Patient Portal through NHS login and the NHS App (e.g. via Wayfinder/MIv2), ensuring smooth authentication and patient journeys that meet national design and safety standards.
  • Work with client digital teams to plan and execute adoption strategies for NHS App and NHS login routes, including communication, training and change management activities for staff and patients.
  • Work with the Customer Success team to monitor live usage of the portal, including channel shift, digital uptake, completion rates and impact on call volumes, DNAs and waiting lists; agree actions with clients to improve performance and patient experience.
  • Translate client feedback, usage data and pathway insights into structured requirements and stories for EBO’s central Product team, acting as the UK “voice of the customer.”
  • Identify and shape opportunities to expand IPP usage within each organisation, including new specialties, pathways and modules (e.g. mental health, community, elective care). Liaise with the EBO Benefits team to build simple business cases with measurable benefits.
  • Ensure all delivery and adoption activities comply with information governance, security, clinical safety and data protection requirements relevant to NHS and UK healthcare.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
