Senior Project Manager
Required on a permanent basis for a high-growth wealth management firm, based flexibly from their Swindon HQ.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced change professional to join a business at a pivotal stage of growth.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will define delivery strategy, establish governance, KPIs and roadmaps, and take full ownership of budgets, RAID, dependencies, and delivery plans to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable business value. Operating within a lean, high-performing Enterprise Change function, you'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. You'll lead complex cross-functional initiatives, remove obstacles, challenge where appropriate, and maintain momentum across multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
This is a deliberately broad leadership role rather than one tied to a single project. Depending on business priorities, you could:
- Lead a high-profile project end-to-end
- Take ownership of a major workstream within a larger transformation programme while leading a team of Project Managers
- Oversee a portfolio of operational and regulatory change initiatives

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
