Responsibilities
- Manage all project phases:
- Pre-construction
- Project development
- Bid/award process
- Project close-out
- Collaborate with clients to refine project scope and vision
- Oversee permit submissions and design evaluations
- Plan, schedule, and monitor projects, ensuring timely budget and timeline adherence
- Lead weekly progress meetings
- Coordinate with consultants and construction teams to assess feasibility and efficiency
- Compile regular reports for internal and external stakeholders (status updates, progress tracking)
- Negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Resolve complex issues including:
- Planning disputes
- Design challenges
- Construction-related conflicts
- Mentor and train Junior Project Managers/Project Coordinators for skill development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
- Minimum 5+ years of construction management experience
- Proven track record managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings accurately
- Strong understanding of risk management policies and procedures
- Expertise in budgeting and schedule management for large-scale construction projects
- Comprehensive knowledge of:
- Construction materials and techniques
- Industry processes and tools
- Self-driven with a commitment to exceeding client expectations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
