Responsibilities

  • Manage all project phases:
    • Pre-construction
    • Project development
    • Bid/award process
    • Project close-out
  • Collaborate with clients to refine project scope and vision
  • Oversee permit submissions and design evaluations
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor projects, ensuring timely budget and timeline adherence
  • Lead weekly progress meetings
  • Coordinate with consultants and construction teams to assess feasibility and efficiency
  • Compile regular reports for internal and external stakeholders (status updates, progress tracking)
  • Negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Resolve complex issues including:
    • Planning disputes
    • Design challenges
    • Construction-related conflicts
  • Mentor and train Junior Project Managers/Project Coordinators for skill development

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
  • Minimum 5+ years of construction management experience
  • Proven track record managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings accurately
  • Strong understanding of risk management policies and procedures
  • Expertise in budgeting and schedule management for large-scale construction projects
  • Comprehensive knowledge of:
    • Construction materials and techniques
    • Industry processes and tools
  • Self-driven with a commitment to exceeding client expectations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
