šŸ” The Opportunity We are seeking a Project Planner to support the planning and coordination of a large portfolio of engineering and systems integration projects. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and Commercial teams to build and maintain project schedules, manage resource planning, and help drive successful project delivery. This role is ideal for someone with strong planning experience across the full project lifecycle, ideally within the Energy or Infrastructure sectors.

šŸ›  Key Responsibilities Work with Project Managers, Engineers and Commercial teams to build, maintain and analyse project schedules in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project. Support programme updates, assess commercial impacts of variations, and produce tender programmes with Bid teams. Provide monthly performance reporting to stakeholders and clients, using strong planning principles such as: Critical path analysis Variance comparisons Terminal float analysis Help identify and mitigate project risks to ensure on‑time delivery across a diverse project portfolio.

āœ” Essential Requirements Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail. Proven planning experience on large Power or Infrastructure projects (Energy preferred). Strong working knowledge of P6 and Microsoft Project for complex engineering programmes. Solid understanding of reporting cycles and programme delivery within NEC contracts.

✨ Desirable Experience with Earned Value Analysis. Experience working with National Grid or other major electricity generation/transmission organisations.
