Project Management and Planning Services Limited (PMPS Ltd.), trading as PMPS Consulting, was established in 2013 to deliver professional project management and planning services to clients across the UK. The company provides project management support, construction planning, project controls support, forensic schedule delay analysis, dashboard management, and project performance audits and research. PMPS Ltd. works with a range of projects, particularly within construction and engineering environments, helping clients improve predictability, performance, and governance. The team brings diverse engineering and project backgrounds, enabling robust, data-driven planning and control for complex projects.
Role Description
The Senior Project Planner will support multiple projects portfolio by developing, maintaining, and optimizing detailed project plans and schedules across various phases of delivery.

Responsibilities

- Preparing and updating project programmes
- Monitoring progress
- Analyzing variances
- Providing clear reports and dashboards to project managers and stakeholders
- Implementing and supporting project controls
- Identifying risks and opportunities
- Contributing to forensic schedule delay analysis when needed
This is a full-time, office-based work. You will be based around Uxbridge, London, UK or in any branch offices or client's office within UK.
The Senior Project Planner will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring that planning data is accurate, timely, and aligned with client objectives.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of job experiences
Qualifications
- Strong Planning & Scheduling and Planning skills for developing and maintaining project programmes.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills to interpret project data, assess trends, and support decision-making.
- Experience in Project Control, including progress measurement, risk identification, and performance reporting.
- Effective Communication skills to convey complex planning information clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency with planning and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and relevant reporting tools.
- Background in construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects, with experience in UK project environments preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid setting, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Relevant degree or professional qualification in engineering, project management, or a related discipline; professional certifications (e.g., APM, PMI) are an advantage.
