Senior P6 Planner
Location: Reading Area
Rate: Up to £59.02 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract: 18 Months
Working Pattern: 1 Day Per Week Onsite
Join a major programme where planning drives decision-making. Ceto Talent is supporting a client in the search for an experienced Senior P6 Planner to join a complex programme environment, delivering planning, scheduling and earned value expertise across high-profile projects.
With just one day per week onsite, this long-term contract offers an excellent balance between flexibility and meaningful programme responsibility.
About You
We are keen to hear from planning professionals who can demonstrate:
- Strong Primavera P6 experience and advanced scheduling capability.
- Previous experience operating at Senior Planner level.
- Strong understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Experience producing and maintaining integrated project schedules.
- Supply chain integration experience.
- Understanding of contract and commercial interfaces.
- Strong forecasting, reporting, and analytical skills.
- Construction, infrastructure, or major project experience would be highly beneficial.
- Active government clearance required for this role.

The Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining project and programme schedules.
- Delivering planning expertise to project teams and stakeholders.
- Producing EVM reporting, schedule forecasts, and performance analysis.
- Supporting project controls and programme management activities.
- Reviewing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and planning methodologies.
- Supporting the continuous improvement of planning processes and tools.
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
