Senior Planner - Renewable Energy
Are you a skilled Senior Project Planner who's been looking to break into the world of clean energy? A renowned IPP is looking to grow their Planning team to support cutting-edge Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across the UK, ensuring seamless execution from inception to completion.
What You’ll Do:
- Plan and monitor project lifecycles, reporting to senior leadership and project managers.
- Coordinate schedules, costs, and resource models, creating ‘what-if’ scenarios to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to align timelines and validate contractor schedules.
- Analyse variances, ensure SIMOPS compliance, and recommend actions to meet deadlines and budgets.
- Support progress reporting, risk management, and baseline schedule development.
- Contribute to lessons learned and project closeout processes.

What They're Looking For:
- Proven experience in project planning for Mechanical and Electrical projects.
- Expertise in schedule coordination, cost forecasting, and earned value management.
- Strong knowledge of SIMOPS, contractor schedule validation, and risk analysis.
- Proficiency with Primavera P6 and PowerBI.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive mindset with a focus on delivering high-impact renewable energy projects.
