Team Overview

The Commercial department is central to ensuring the financial viability and contractual success of our projects. Responsible for cost management, procurement, valuations, contract administration, and project planning, the team works closely with project managers, quantity surveyors, and clients to monitor budgets, mitigate risk, and maximise value throughout the project lifecycle. Their expertise ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with contractual obligations, safeguarding both client satisfaction and company profitability.

Role Overview

Due to continued growth, we are looking to integrate a Senior Project Planner responsible for leading the development, management, and assurance of integrated project programmes for our data center business unit. This role ensures the delivery of accurate, contract compliant, and performance driven schedules, providing clear visibility of progress, risks, and outcomes to support successful project delivery. Acting as the focal point for planning, the Senior Project Planner will work closely with commercial, operational, and client teams, driving best practice in project planning, reporting, and programme control across multiple projects.

  • Hours: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-3pm

What You'll be Doing

  • Lead and oversee planning activities across multiple projects, acting as the key focal point for project programmes and ensuring consistency in planning standards, processes, and outputs.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain integrated programmes across all project phases, ensuring alignment with project scope, contractual requirements, and client expectations.
  • Monitor programme performance, analyse critical paths, identify risks and delays, and implement mitigation and recovery plans to maintain delivery targets.
  • Prepare programme reports, dashboards, and performance insights for senior management, while supporting delay analysis and change management activities.
  • Collaborate closely with estimating, commercial, operations, site, and subcontractor teams, as well as clients and stakeholders, to coordinate delivery sequencing, communicate programme performance, and integrate planning with cost, risk, and performance reporting.
