The Role

We're looking for an experienced Senior Sales Negotiator to join our sales team and play a leading role in converting valuations into instructions, matching buyers to the right properties, and driving transactions through to successful exchange and completion alongside our in-house sales progressors.

This is a senior, client-facing role suited to a confident, target-driven property professional who thrives on negotiation and wants to take on more responsibility, such as mentoring junior negotiators, managing a busy pipeline, and helping shape how the branch performs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Register buyer enquiries, qualify their needs, and proactively match them to suitable properties on our books
  • Conduct viewings and follow up promptly and professionally to secure feedback and offers
  • Negotiate offers between buyers and sellers to achieve the best possible outcome for all parties
  • Progress agreed sales through to exchange and completion, liaising with solicitors, mortgage brokers, and other agents in the chain to keep transactions moving
  • Support and contribute to valuations and new instructions, helping to build the branch's pipeline
  • Build long-term relationships with buyers, sellers, developers, and referral partners to generate repeat and recommended business
  • Maintain accurate records on the branch CRM, ensuring GDPR and regulatory compliance at every stage
  • Mentor and support junior negotiators, helping to raise standards across the team
  • Represent Sims Williams professionally at all times, in line with our reputation for a straightforward, personal service

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
