SENIOR PROPERTY MANAGER

Rendall & Rittner £Competitive, aligned to experience and portfolio size Hybrid

Role Overview

You will take the lead on a large development in Greenwich that is set for remarkable growth, evolving from around 1000 homes to approximately 1900 over the coming years. This is a rare opportunity to shape the resident experience and operational model for a new London neighbourhood. Partnering closely with the client, contractors and on-site teams.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS

This is a fast-paced, high-responsibility role requiring strong leadership, sound judgement and commercial awareness.

You Will

  • Take full ownership of your portfolio, ensuring consistently high service delivery
  • Lead, support and mentor junior team members
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with clients, residents and stakeholders
  • Oversee budgets, forecasts and financial performance with accuracy and control
  • Manage major works projects and Section 20 consultations end-to-end
  • Ensure full compliance with H&S, legislation and industry best practice
  • Proactively identify risks, resolve issues and drive improvements.

How You’ll Spend Most Of Your Time

Most weeks, you’ll be:

  • Managing and overseeing a residential property portfolio
  • Supporting and mentoring Property Managers and team members
  • Attending client meetings, AGMs and board presentations
  • Reviewing budgets, forecasts and financial performance
  • Overseeing major works and contractor performance
  • Conducting site visits and ensuring compliance standards are met
  • Providing expert advice on leasehold legislation and best practice

You’ll work in a hybrid way, with a mix of home working, time in the office and site visits as required, trusted to manage your time and priorities effectively.

Who This Role Is For

This role suits someone who:

  • Has strong experience in residential block/property management
  • Has previously operated at Senior Property Manager level or is ready to step up
  • Is confident leading people and influencing stakeholders
  • Has strong financial, operational and commercial awareness
  • Communicates clearly, professionally and with authority
  • Takes pride in delivering a high-quality, proactive service

Experience That Helps

  • Proven experience managing residential portfolios
  • Experience mentoring or managing team members
  • Strong understanding of Landlord & Tenant Act and leasehold legislation
  • Knowledge of RICS, ARMA and industry best practice
  • Experience with Section 20 consultations and major works
  • TPI qualification (or working towards)
