Description

This is a hybrid role based out of London, Manchester or Cheltenham

NCC Group offers the full spectrum of Cyber Security Services from our global portfolio to clients of all industries and sectors. We help businesses to increase their cyber resilience and unblock obstacles to innovation by providing clients with a clear understanding of how secure they are, how to become more secure, how to know when they are under attack, and how to respond.

As the Cyber market evolves at pace, clients increasingly require comprehensive, end-to-end solutions which address their core challenges, bringing together numerous distinct services and highlighting true value, differentiation and outcomes. Key themes of focus include Securing AI, Digital Identity and Proactive Security.

This role will help address that need by working across Global Capabilities, and Regional Markets, to: Firstly, identify and combine service line offerings from different Capabilities within NCC Group into coherent Propositions, which speak clearly to the challenges businesses are facing in maintaining and improving cyber resilience. Secondly, identify gaps where we do not have Propositions or Services to address key challenges, and steering the discussion, investment case(s) and solution definition with stakeholders, and Portfolio Management colleagues, to develop our propositions of the future. We are therefore looking for an experienced, collaborative and market-savvy professional to join us as we formalise and grow the Propositions Management discipline, alongside our existing Portfolio Management team.

Key Responsibilities

Actively work with our Sales, Markets, Government Affairs and Client Relationship teams to understand the need and demand from our customers to design our future propositions, ensuring that they are targeted and positioned correctly, and meet or exceed customer needs and expectations. Deliver new propositions end-to-end in an adaptable, agile, fast-paced manner - from agreeing the need and early definition, to enabling Sales to meet targets and execute growth initiatives through training, enablement and performance monitoring. Work as a trusted partner to regional and Global Markets and Capability teams to actively manage existing propositions, to ensure they continue to meet the needs of customers, refining or removing where necessary. Ensure, in close collaboration with Marketing, that all elements of the proposition are fit for purpose, competitive in the market and that all customer facing functions have the adequate tools, messages and abilities to sell and support the propositions within all channels and segments. Develop business cases that incorporate the financial benefit, customer benefit and potential revenue of new propositions, and evaluating suitable buy, build or partner mechanisms to achieve the desired solution. Maintain regular contact with a community of customers, and internal proxies, representative in the proposition domain and be a voice of the customer champion, translate insights from customer interactions into insightful recommendations / actions to portfolio & business teams Work with the Analyst Relations team to maintain regular contact with Industry Analysts such as Gartner, Forrester and IDC, to veto, validate or verify market and competitive signals, in addition to your own research and attendance at market and industry events. Conduct regular horizon scanning and mapping to uncover needs that clients may require over a 12-36 month period and translate this into early stage Discovery where appropriate and viable.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
