We make better lives by providing support to the Step 2 Talking Therapies team with Mind Matters and taking on additional roles to contribute to the effectiveness and excellence of service experienced by those using Mind Matters.
Are you a qualified PWP with at least one year's post-qualifying experience who is looking to develop your skills and experience further? Mind Matters Talking Therapies service is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate senior PWP who is keen to provide Clinical and Operational support within the Step 2 Team.
The post holder will have existing training on a nationally recognised post-graduate programme to improve knowledge on a range of mental health issues, and in how to provide a range of brief solution-focused interventions for adults who are experiencing mild to moderate emotional difficulties, particularly anxiety and depression.

The role of Senior PWP is an opportunity for experienced PWPs who are committed to this model to move to develop their careers within the Step 2 Care Pathway.

The post-holder will be based at Unither House, Chertsey, and will offer evidence-based practice in Guided Self-help, CBT including groups, and one weekly face-to-face clinic at locations throughout Surrey.
They will also be required to develop, support, and train innovative practice to trainee talking therapy psychological well-being practitioners, to other workers qualified to act in Low-intensity worker roles and to Primary Care colleagues, such as health visitors, community matrons, etc., and to our colleagues in non-statutory organisations.
