About the Role
Join our well-established and dynamic Public Health Team as a Senior Public Health Practitioner for Older Adults and take the next step in your public health career. You’ll play a key role in addressing health inequalities and preventing ill-health across our communities, helping to improve outcomes for some of our most vulnerable populations.

• Support older adults to live longer in better health • Improve the health and wellbeing of adults with learning disabilities
Responsibilities
Our Senior Public Health Practitioner will:
- Lead and deliver innovative and expanding public health projects, with a particular focus on supporting older adults to live longer, healthier lives
- Support the health and wellbeing needs of adults with learning disabilities through tailored, evidence-based approaches
- Build strong, effective relationships with stakeholders across multi-agency settings
- Analyse research, data, and public health intelligence to: • Gather complex information • Interpret findings • Communicate insights clearly to diverse audiences
- Identify opportunities for improvement, implementing creative, transformative ways of working
- Contribute to reducing health inequalities through targeted, impactful interventions

Requirements
We are looking for a public health professional with:
- Significant experience in a public health role
- master’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
- Deep understanding of public health concepts, with the ability to: • Use evidence-based research methods and practice • Analyze and interpret complex data effectively
- Proven partnership-working experience across multi-agency settings, with: • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills • Excellence in relationship-building
- A creative, forward-thinking mindset capable of driving innovation and change
- Confident, excelloent communication skills for engaging diverse audiences
