Role Description
The Senior Public Relations Consultant is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading PR strategies and campaigns for clients in the food and drink, leisure, and lifestyle sectors. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Developing and implementing communications plans
- Crafting press releases and media materials
- Securing coverage through proactive media outreach and relationship building

The consultant will provide strategic counsel to clients, manage key accounts, and oversee the delivery of integrated PR activities, including digital and social media. Responsibilities also include:
- Monitoring campaign performance
- Preparing reports
- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
- Mentoring junior team members as needed
Qualifications
- Strong public relations, media relations, and communications skills, with experience managing strategic PR campaigns.
- Proficiency in writing and editing press releases, pitches, and other content tailored to food and drink, travel, tourism and leisure, and lifestyle sectors.
- Ability to conduct research, develop PR strategies, and analyze campaign results to inform future activity.
- Excellent client management skills, including account leadership, stakeholder communication, and presentation abilities.
- Proven experience in a senior PR or communications role, preferably within relevant industry sectors.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
