Senior Python Developer (Remote)

Role: Senior Python Developer (Remote)
Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere)
Job Type: Contract
Payout: $30 - $90/hour

Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Python Developer to work on a contract basis. The role involves building and maintaining scalable backend services using Python, with a focus on performance optimization and code quality. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy software solutions that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and deploy Python-based backend services and APIs with a focus on scalability and efficiency.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and design patterns.
  • Optimize existing codebases for performance, reliability, and security improvements.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and software quality metrics.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments, including debugging and root cause analysis.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Python 3.x and experience with frameworks such as Django or Flask.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Experience with RESTful API development and integration with third-party services.
  • Familiarity with databases including SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).
  • Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms, specifically AWS or Azure, for deployment and infrastructure management.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
