Senior QA Automation Engineer (.NET)
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer (.NET) based in United Kingdom.
We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design, implement, and improve automated testing solutions for complex software products. This role focuses on ensuring product quality, reliability, and performance through robust automation frameworks and efficient testing strategies.
You will collaborate with engineering teams to identify quality improvements, solve technical challenges, and support the delivery of high-quality software.
The position offers the opportunity to work on diverse technology projects within a global, remote-first environment. You will contribute to modern QA practices while working alongside skilled professionals who value innovation, teamwork, and continuous learning.

Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated testing solutions using.NET technologies and modern QA automation practices.
- Create reliable test frameworks and automation strategies to improve software quality, coverage, and delivery efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and QA professionals to identify issues, define testing approaches, and ensure high-quality releases.
- Analyze requirements, create test scenarios, and validate software functionality across different environments.
- Identify, investigate, and report defects while providing clear technical feedback to improve product stability.
- Continuously optimize testing processes, tools, and workflows to increase efficiency and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Support continuous integration and delivery processes by integrating automated testing into development workflows.
- Contribute to maintaining strong engineering standards and promoting quality-focused practices across teams.

Requirements:
- Strong professional experience in QA automation engineering with a focus on .NET-based applications.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and quality assurance best practices.
- Hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated tests for complex software systems.
- Strong programming skills with .NET technologies and the ability to write clean, maintainable automation code.
- Experience working with testing tools, frameworks, and CI/CD environments.
- Ability to analyze technical requirements, identify risks, and create effective testing strategies.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a quality-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in distributed, remote teams and collaborate with professionals across different regions.
- Experience with additional certifications or knowledge of QA standards such as ISTQB is a plus.
