Role: Senior QA Automation Engineer (Remote)
Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere)
Job Type: Contract
Payout: $30 - $80/hour
Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks for high-impact software projects. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality and reliability across multiple platforms and environments. Responsibilities include developing test scripts, analyzing test results, and identifying defects to improve system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Execute and maintain automated test suites to validate software functionality, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and ensure continuous delivery.
- Analyze test results, document defects, and work with engineering teams to resolve issues efficiently.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to improving testing methodologies and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in QA automation engineering, with expertise in scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Proficiency in automated testing tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or Postman for API testing.
- Experience with test frameworks like Cucumber, JUnit, or TestNG for structured test execution.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI for test automation integration.
- Ability to analyze complex system behavior and troubleshoot automated test failures effectively.
- Experience with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling is a plus.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and branching strategies for test code management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in validating software quality.
