About The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of every release that goes out. Sporty Group adopts a progressive approach to quality assurance, empowering its QA team members to make critical decisions regarding product readiness and launch. You will function as a Hybrid QA Engineer, bringing expertise in both manual testing and automation processes. Your involvement will span the entire development lifecycle—from capturing and estimating requirements to final testing and deployment. To facilitate effective collaboration, you must be based within the EU timezone, enabling seamless communication with the team on a daily basis.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess over three years of testing experience, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of various testing methodologies. A solid grasp of unit, integration, end-to-end, regression, stress/performance, and API testing is essential. Proficiency in web, Android, iOS, and API manual testing is required, along with familiarity with web debugging and API testing tools such as Chrome DevTools and Postman. Candidates should have strong experience with Python, as well as automation testing for REST APIs, mobile apps, and web applications using frameworks like Selenium and Playwright. Knowledge of relational databases, particularly MySQL, and experience with Docker and Kubernetes are advantageous. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Jira will further strengthen your application. A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related fields is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive testing across multiple platforms, including web, Android, and iOS, covering black box, white box, integration, and performance testing.
- Track, document, and analyze product issues using various tools, providing clear and actionable feedback to development teams to facilitate timely corrections.
- Develop detailed test plans and test cases aligned with feature requirements, and generate comprehensive test reports.
- Simulate real user scenarios to evaluate product usability and performance, ensuring the software meets end-user expectations.
- Participate actively in team discussions, challenge requirements, and clarify acceptance criteria to enhance testability and quality.
- Create and maintain automated test cases for web, mobile, and API testing to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Analyze automated test results, identify areas for improvement, and optimize testing processes.
- Develop and enhance automated testing frameworks, integrating them into the Continuous Integration pipeline to streamline deployment cycles.
- Review code and design documents, providing constructive feedback to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Continuously upgrade your skills through training and research, staying current with industry best practices and emerging tools.
- Mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and fostering a collaborative learning environment.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing quality assurance processes and implement effective solutions to enhance overall product quality.
