Key Responsibilities
- Build out automation frameworks and test suite that reduce the manual testing burden and supports an increase in velocity of software releases.
- Champion a test automation strategy across the team, defining standards, frameworks, and best practices.
- Evaluate and introduce AI-powered testing tools, running proof-of-concepts and documenting outcomes.
- Develop and maintain the manual regression test suite to be executed for each product.
- Provide expertise in testing technology, tooling and processes with proactive implementation.
- Assure that all developed solutions deliver the functional and non-functional acceptance criteria expected by our customers.
- Assure that product releases are of high quality and act as the approval authority for deployment.
- Support the product owner in the elaboration of requirements and help write acceptance criteria that are executable by the developers.
- Communicate with customers to understand their issues, judge the severity of the problem and document the expected resolution.
- Collaborate with developers to identify and replicate software defects as early as possible.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
