About The Role
In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring the quality and reliability of every product release at Sporty Group. Unlike traditional organizations that view QA as a mere gatekeeper, Sporty Group empowers its QA team members to make critical decisions regarding product readiness for launch. You will act as a Hybrid QA Engineer, bringing your expertise in both manual testing and automation processes to the table. Your involvement will span the entire development lifecycle—from requirements gathering and estimation to final testing and deployment. This position requires you to be based within the EU timezone to facilitate seamless collaboration with the global team on a daily basis. Your contributions will directly influence the user experience, operational stability, and overall success of our innovative digital products.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of experience in software testing, with a strong foundation in various testing methodologies. A solid understanding of unit, integration, end-to-end, regression, stress/performance, and API testing is essential. Proficiency in manual testing for web, Android, and iOS platforms, coupled with experience in web debugging and API testing tools such as Chrome DevTools and Postman, is required. Candidates should have a working knowledge of relational databases, preferably MySQL, and familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB is advantageous. Strong programming skills in Python are necessary, along with experience in developing and executing automated test cases for web and mobile applications. Knowledge of automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, and Appium, as well as experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, will set candidates apart. Familiarity with project management tools like Jira and Jenkins is also beneficial. A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related fields is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive testing of web and mobile platforms, including black box, white box, integration, and performance testing to ensure product quality.
- Identify, track, and document product issues using various tools, providing detailed feedback to development teams for resolution.
- Design and execute detailed test plans and test cases aligned with feature requirements, and generate clear and insightful test reports.
- Simulate real user scenarios to validate functionality and usability, ensuring the product meets user expectations.
- Participate actively in team discussions, challenge requirements and acceptance criteria to enhance clarity and testability.
- Create and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Analyze automated test results to identify areas for process improvement and optimize testing workflows.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain automated testing frameworks and pipelines, contributing to the continuous integration process.
- Collaborate with development teams to review designs and code, offering constructive feedback to improve quality.
- Stay updated with the latest testing tools, methodologies, and industry best practices, applying them to ongoing projects.
- Mentor less experienced QA team members, sharing knowledge and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing quality assurance processes and implement new strategies to enhance overall product quality.
