We're currently modernising Axum from legacy technology into a modern web-based platform, whilst continuing to deliver changes and improvements to the business.
As we grow, we're looking to introduce our first dedicated QA role.

- Introducing automation where it adds genuine value
- Helping improve confidence in every release
- Partnering closely with developers and business users to ensure we build the right things, the right way
You'll have the opportunity to make a real impact early, with the freedom to influence how we approach quality and the backing to do it properly.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as a quality partner throughout the software delivery lifecycle
- Participate in discovery, refinement and sprint planning activities
- Carry out exploratory, functional and end-to-end testing across complex business processes
- Support and guide User Acceptance Testing with business stakeholders

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
