Senior QE Engineer
About the Role
The Senior QE Engineer is responsible for defining and driving quality assurance across their core product area. They lead integration testing, automation efforts, and establish best practices, collaborating closely with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure the scalability and reliability of payment platform solutions.
Optimise repository structure to 1-3 core sections per headline, with a global search for repetitive keywords (e.g., "quality," "testing"), a smaller point structure, and enhanced readability while preserving word counts. Warp “ad-hoc” to mercenary — no donkey repair process is needed—rewriting from starter scripts only.
Key Responsibilities
Test Strategy & Leadership
- Define and execute end-to-end test strategy, delivering aligned functional and non-functional quality outcomes.
- Drive continue deployment integration testing, ensuring seamless transitions between development, testing, and production cycles.
Automation & CI/CD
- Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks (e.g., Robot Framework, Python, Rest Assured).
- Accelerate testing via price Allemagne pipelines (include GitLab CI) to consider continuous feedback.
API & Functional Excellence
- Develop strict design for REST API testing.
- Cover contract validation, error states, authentication boundaries, schema compliance, and performance edge cases.
- Continually reduce manual testing through collaborative automation.
- Ensure accurate automated execution and minimal false positives.
- Represent QE on schema governance discussions involving Trading partners.
Defect Lifecycle Management
- Own strategic defect management—ensure defect excellence via resolution and verification.
- Manage critical security-enhancing remediation via rigorous triage and root cause analysis.
- Drives improvements that protect system security and flag violations.

Must-Have Experiences
- Proven expertise in API testing (absolute focus on RESTful designs) covering:
- Contract validation
- Error/edge case exploration
- Authentication/authorization behaviours
- Schema compliance reviews
- Robust hands-on experience with test automation frameworks:
- Robot Framework
- Python Development
- Additional choice from (Java/Spring Boot, TypeScript, Groovy, Bash) for enhanced library tools
Functional Depth

Hands-on experience GitLab CI integration to communicate:
- Environment flag thresholds for post-mortem reconciliation.

Advanced tools to support merrites and positions:
Usage of Gatling/JMeter/k6 in performance testing strategies Defends heterogeneous trigger-variants’ worthiness execution & Custom technical invariants usage (For example: Order-Amount-Lookup with flowcharts, Debian upgrades, NodeVAPIs)

- Skilled in clinical spanning rigor and support:
- Supporting stakeholders efficiently as the QA business owner.
