About The Team:

SRUC is unique in Scotland and one of the largest organisations of its kind in Europe. Our ambitious and exciting vision is to work at local, national and international levels, leading innovation and sustainable development in agriculture and rural sectors.

The Quality Team at SRUC plays a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing academic standards across all programmes. Working collaboratively with academic and professional services colleagues, the team ensures that SRUC delivers high-quality education that meets the expectations of students, staff, awarding bodies, and external regulators.

Our work spans Further, Higher and Postgraduate Education, with expansion in transnational education (TNE), supporting programme validation, accreditation, and continuous improvement. We are responsible for developing and implementing robust quality assurance frameworks, monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements, and facilitating institutional readiness for external scrutiny.

The Quality Team is committed to fostering a culture of excellence, transparency, and enhancement. Through workshops, forums, CPD sessions, and the QA intranet, we engage staff across the institution to embed quality assurance into everyday practice. We also work closely with external agencies such as QAA Scotland, Qualifications Scotland, and the Scottish Funding Council, as well as international partners and accrediting bodies, to ensure SRUC remains aligned with sector-wide standards and expectations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
