At Beagle Aircraft, we're proud to manufacture precision-engineered components for some of the world's leading aerospace programmes. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Senior Quality Inspector to join our Quality team and play a leading role in maintaining the highest standards of product quality and compliance.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced aerospace Quality Inspector looking to take the next step in their career, acting as a technical lead, supporting continuous improvement and helping to develop best practice across the inspection team.
The Role
As a Senior Quality Inspector, you'll take responsibility for inspecting complex aerospace components while providing technical support to Production, Engineering and fellow Quality Inspectors. You'll lead by example, helping to resolve quality issues, support investigations and promote a Right First Time culture throughout the business.
Working in a highly regulated aerospace environment, you'll play a key role in ensuring products meet customer specifications, industry standards and internal quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out first-off, in-process and final inspections of complex aerospace components and assemblies.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and GD&T to verify product conformity.
- Support and review First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in accordance with AS9102 requirements.
- Lead quality investigations, supporting NCR, RCCA and continuous improvement activities.
- Provide technical guidance and day-to-day support to Quality Inspectors and Production teams.
- Work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing to resolve quality issues and improve Right First Time performance.
- Support internal, customer and third-party audits, ensuring full compliance with AS9100 requirements.
- Champion high standards of quality, safety, housekeeping and product traceability across the inspection function.
About You
We're looking for an experienced aerospace Quality Inspector who enjoys leading by example and supporting others to achieve the highest quality standards.

You'll ideally have:
- At least 3 years' experience within an aerospace or precision engineering Quality Inspection role.
- Previous experience supporting, mentoring or leading Quality Inspectors within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, FAIRs, NCRs, RCCA, APQP, MSA and SPC.
- Excellent understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T and complex aerospace specifications.
- Experience using a wide range of precision measuring equipment and interpreting CMM reports.
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience driving defect reduction and process improvement.
- HNC/HND in Engineering or Manufacturing, or equivalent industry experience.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence Production, Engineering and Quality teams.
